The title says it all. Today I MADE myself sit down and write my term paper. I knew, in my whole heart of hearts, that if I didn’t do it today, I was bound to pull an all nighter at some point in the next 2 weeks, and at this age….it ins’t cool anymore because your parents aren’t there to make you hot cocoa or tea or popcorn, order pizza, or drive your paper into school for you the next morning while you sleep in. You know, I am not really sure what in the world nuclear power plants have to do with Social Work, but maybe, just maybe, I might find it useful someday, even if just to say, “Hey…I had to do it, Kid…you have to too.”

Jen - 1st: Beautiful picture! As always! 2nd: Term Papers suck... one reason why I never finished college! 3rd: Johnny Depp went to High School with one of my friends sisters. They hung out together and she even went up to Vancouver when he was shooting 21 Jump Street! I have an autographed picture of him - to me - from 21 Jump Street... I'll have to scan it and post it for you! I LOVE him too!!!

amy - Wow, beautiful shot! I must agree, you do learn some odd things in pursuit of a degree. I decided that it isn't all of what you're learning, it's showing the commitment to finish what you start that is most important.

Mom2drew - I'll be honest...I'm thankful I'm done with school and have NO desire to return. But, with that said, you'll be happy when you're done, so just keep plugging away. What are you studying anyway? Even the simple photos are terrific!
