Daily Mantra: “I try to avoid looking forward or backward, and try to keep looking upward.” -Charlotte Bronte as noted from Jane Eyre. (one of my favorite books)

That is a great quote…I may need to print that out…I had a rough shoot this week and it is bringing me down…well it was just the skin issue and it has taught me a lot…well you get the point…great photo here…

Oh cool! They both rule but I really like the b&w one…

Chell - April 1, 2008 - 9:29 pm

That B&W rocks. Great job

brenda - April 1, 2008 - 9:34 pm

I can’t decide I like them both.

Sharon - April 1, 2008 - 9:39 pm

Wow! Both are so different, moody and classic versus light and airy. But I like them both.

Angela - April 1, 2008 - 9:47 pm

Miss M certainly is beautiful! I think I like the color one better. The b&w is very nice as well, but I like the rich feel of the color one, particularly because of the green.

LOVE LOVE the b&w! Fabulous!

Tracie - April 1, 2008 - 10:07 pm

These are both absolutely beautiful! She is so cute :)

So sweet, my favorite is the color one because the colors are so beautiful just like her.

Debbi - April 1, 2008 - 10:33 pm

Love the light in this shot.

Cindi - April 1, 2008 - 10:34 pm

Very sweet shot! I really love your black and white conversion…and that dress is awesome!!

jess - April 1, 2008 - 11:01 pm

WOW girl! Awesome quote (LOVE that book too!) and amazingly beautiful photos. I can’t decide between the two conversions, they are both so so great in their own ways!

Kari Layland - April 1, 2008 - 11:40 pm

She’s lovely, and the conversions are great!

What a cute girl. I love the colors in the first one. They seem to really fit the portrait! Great job!

Amy - April 2, 2008 - 5:22 am

Nice angle and I love the conversion. It seems to add some depth and interest to this one. Am copying that quote from today. Love it!

I really like your bnw best here. And she has such a cute shirt! Great job, as always!

Becky (finsup) - April 2, 2008 - 8:14 am

I can’t decide between the two either, but I think the color is my favorite. Love your daily quotes too. I only got around to reading Jane Eyre two summers ago. I try to intersperse my trash reading with the occasional literature piece I missed somewhere along the way in life.

She is beautiful, I really love the color here. You did a great job on yesterdays picture, I didn’t get a chance to post. It is hard to take pictures of an autistic child and the mom is going to love that picture.

Wow – I feel like I am looking at a picture from the 1900s. Beuatiful work.
